Conte Sketching and Drawing Charcoal Pencils

Charcoal has been used for centuries for drawing. It is particularly appreciated for its fine, even grain.  

It produces a dry, dense, intense black. Its advantage is that it is perfectly miscible with Sanguine and Sépia pencils. 

They are easy to blend and add a warm, light tone to the work.
