Federal Color Tonic Classic Set 12 Half Pans in Metal Travel Box

Our original watercolors are now available in a handy, easy-to-carry metal tin! This classic set contains twelve overfilled half pans of our Tonic Watercolor, including a full complement of mixing colors, earth tones, and some handy convenience colors. All 12 colors in the Classic Set are single-pigment, so they are all suitable for mixing.

The new Federal watercolor tins will be familiar to many artists; we've selected a classic style that uses a durable steel base and an ultra-smooth enamel coating. Enamel is an excellent mixing surface, and these tins include six distinct mixing spaces in various sizes. The base is flat (there's no metal finger loop, like many tins of this type) which helps it stay still on your desk while you paint.

All 12 original Tonic colors are included: #002 Federal Red, #012 Oxide Red, #040 Signal Yellow, #043 Oxide Yellow, #047 Permanent Yellow, #130 Phthalo Evergreen, #220 Prussian Blue, #230 Phthalo Cyan, #245 Ultramarine, #325 Quinacridone Magenta, #360 Titanium White, and #000 Carbon Black. They are clipped to the tin with flexible metal rails; just flex them toward the pan to tighten, and away from the pan to release.
