When we set out to create a synthetic version of squirrel, we developed a brush that may actually outperform the natural version. Neptune is our softest and thirstiest synthetic brush, delivering oceans of color. Experts in natural hair have been incredulous that this is actually synthetic. We are proud to offer Neptune in a beautiful range of shapes including mottlers and quills with rich wood tones and sea glass aquarelle handles.

• Aquarelle: The Aquarelle will hold a sharp edge when desired as well as both holding a delivering water and paint beautifully.
• Dagger Stripper: Long chisel edge for easy, fine lines. Vary pressure for thick-to-thin ribbon effect.
• Mottlers: Are large flat brushes. Often used for murals, washes, varnishing or priming, these brushes hold a large amount of paint and cover large surface areas.
• Oval Washes: A cross between a mop and a filbert, used primarily for laying in large amounts of color and blending.
• Quill: The quill has a round ferrule and full belly with delicately pointed tip. A Quill delivers beautifully sweeping strokes with incredible precision.
• Rounds: Smaller sizes are typically used for detail work and larger sizes tend to be used for washes and filling in color.
• Script: Similar to rounds, but with longer hairs. Liners have a large color carrying capacity and makes long, fluid strokes.
